Kids on Nauru most traumatised: Doctors' report

A day after the High Court's ruling, that Australia's offshore detention procedure on the Pacific Island is lawful, the Australian Human Rights Commission released a report looking at the impact of immigration detention on children.


Two paediatricians who assessed the mental and physical health of children detained at the Wickam Point facility in Darwin found they were among the most traumatised they had seen in their 50 years of combined professional experience.
