Landmark women's football pay deal

A new pay deal for Australia's national women's football team is being widely hailed as a landmark moment in women's sport. Later this week, Football Federation Australia is expected to announce the Matildas will be paid the same as their male counterparts, the Socceroos. Under the arrangement, the Matildas and the Socceroos will also reportedly share commercial revenue and prize money evenly.
