Law and You (164) How to apply to Administrative Appeal Tribunal to review your case on spouse visas refused

Visa refused

Source: SBS

The Administrative Appeal Tribunal (AAT) is an independent review body with power to review all decisions made by government ministers, departments and agencies under Commonwealth laws on which many failed spouse visa cases have sought review and gain approve after all. An appeal to a higher court can only be about a question of law. This means that you or your representative must consider that the AAT made a mistake in law when deciding your case.
