With the manufacture of medical cannabis now permitted in Australia, how much longer will Australians be waiting to see some form of legalisation?


Chronic and seriously ill Australians will be able to access medicinal cannabis more quickly under sweeping changes announced by the Federal Government.

The push for legislation would allow for the medical use of cannabis for people with HIV, motor neurone disease, multiple sclerosis, those undergoing chemotherapy and for the management of pain associated with cancer, or any illness or condition declared to be a terminal or serious medical condition.
