The winner of the Wentworth by-election remains up in the air despite Independent Kerryn Phelps claiming victory on Saturday night [[October 20]].
Prime Minister Scott Morrison, who originally conceded defeat, is now holding out hope Liberal candidate Dave Sharma will get enough votes to be announced as winner.
