The Higher People’s Court in Ho Chi Minh City will hold the appeal of democracy activists and human rights defenders Luu Van Vinh, Tran Quoc Hoan, Nguyen Van Duc Do, Tu Cong Nghia and Phan Trung on January 21, Defend the Defenders has learned. Ms Le Thi Thap, Luu Van Vinh's wife said that she has learned from Vinh's lawyers Nguyen Van Mieng, about her husband their trial.
