Former Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak has been charged with embezzlement and bribery after being arrested by the country's anti-corruption authorities.


The former leader is accused of pocketing hundreds of millions of dollars from the state development fund 1MDB that he founded almost a decade ago.
