Malcolm Turnbull and Barnaby Joyce summon Murray Goulburn executives

The Government is also considering a Senate inquiry into Murray Goulburn's decision to cut the price it pays farmers for milk.

Mr Turnbull and Mr Joyce will meet Murray Goulburn executives in Canberra and question them on the events leading up to April's shock price cut, and why the company is seeking to claw-back money from producers.

 

Support for affected dairy farmers is also set to be raised in this afternoon's meeting.
