The 21st US-Vietnam Human Rights Dialogue is scheduled today in Hanoi.


Ms. Virginia Bennett, Assistant Secretary of State for Democracy, Human Rights and Labor, will lead the delegation to the United States, and Vu Anh Quang, in Vietnam delegation.

The US State Department report says Dialogue will cover many human rights issues. The main themes addressed include the importance of continuing to push for legislative reform efforts; Legal issues; Freedom of speech, assembly and assembly; Religious freedom; Labor rights; The rights of the disabled; Anti-discrimination; Multilateral cooperation, and other single cases cause other concerns.
