With the beginning of the North Vietnamese Tet Offensive on January 30, 1968, the Vietnamese lunar New Year -Tết Nguyên Đán had turned Hue to a battle of massacre of a civil war. There were more than 6000 innocent people had been killed in 26 days of fighting in Hue. The sorrow was so much tremedous that almost can be feel these day, 50 years after deadly battle by listening to story of Tet Offensive in Hue portraited in songs and literature, Cơn Me Chiều by Nguyen Minh Khoi is one of these.
