Vietnam Vietnam by Pham Duy used to recommended to become the National Anthem of the Republic of Vietnam II. It was the song sung by Republic of Vietnam marine soldiers during the last battle to against Chinese army in the attempt to protect the sovereign of the Paracels Island of Vietnam in 1974.
