Myanmar ignores humanitarian truce offered by militant Rohingya

People around the world have taken to the streets to protest the humanitarian crisis unfolding on the Bangladesh-Myanmar border.

Attacks by militants on Myanmar police posts and an army base on August 25th prompted a military counter-offensive that triggered an exodus of Rohingya to Bangladesh.

 

It's added to the hundreds of thousands already there from previous bouts of conflict.
