Only a few more days will be the Apec -Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation - Forum opening ceremony in Da Nang, Vietnam.

17 human rights organizations and political parties inside and outside the country signed in a letter addressed to leaders of the upcoming Apec countries, asking them to pay attention to the increasingly poor human rights record. and ask the host country not to persecute those who fight for democracy in Vietnam.

Nguyen Tuong Thuy, deputy chairman of the Independent Journalists Association in Vietnam, signed the above letter, but he told SBS Viet Ngu that he had little hope of the above.
