Do you know all there is to know about science, or language, or technology? Are you prepared to tackle physical challenges and compete for a $1000 prize?

Then you need to form a team for the Pal Buddhist Schools Battle of the Minds competition.

For all students from years 6-10, the competition is open to the general public and schools across the region.

It starts on Sunday November 13 and finishes Sunday December 4.

The competition consists of short 15-minute tasks on each challenge day up to longer tasks that competitors can work on at home with their team.

Topics will include maths, science, technology, language, literature and physical education.

The prize for the winning team will be $1000 to share between their team mates.

School communications manager Freddy Lu said the competition was designed to encourage social connection and develop friendships between students from other schools.

Pal Buddhist School, in Canley Vale, is the first Buddhist school in Australia.

Registration for a team of 3-5 people costs $20 so get your team together and prepare for battle.

Call Freddy Lu on 0401 853 120 or email freddy@pal.nsw.edu.au for more details and to register your team.
