Having an intercultural marriage is hard enough, although completely rewarding as well. Adding kids to the mix can make it tricky. Ann Cheetham shares how she and her husband- Tom Cheetham raise their little one while honoring two cultures.

Van Anh likes to eat Vietnamese caramelized pork and eggs with the strong mell of fish sauce, Tom loves the traditional Australian beefsteak, and he could "faint" when smelling durian.

When these two started a family and gave birth to their first child, Alice Cheetham, they recognize that love can bloom from differences.

In the journey of bringing up a mixed race kid, there is a fairy named "grandmother" who appeared and resolved all challenges of the family.
