According to the campaign Now! of BP / SOS, Vietnam is detaining 251 prisoners of conscience in Vietnam.

This campaign is an initiative of 15 international civil organizations and Vietnam regularly monitors the persecution, detention and imprisonment of human rights defenders and prisoners.

These prisoners nearly doubled compared to the end of 2017 when this campaign began to operate.

Whether this number is missing or not, Dr. Nguyen Dinh Thang of BP / SOS organization  gave SBS Vietnamese an interview..
