Millions of Irish expatriates, including tens of thousands living in Australia, could soon be given a vote in the nation's presidential elections.
A long-awaited referendum, scheduled for October, will determine whether the electorate will dramatically increase to include Irish citizens living in Northern Ireland and beyond.
