Reformers have the upper hand in Iran's election

Reformers in Iran appear to be on the cusp of a big election victory - at least in the capital - in one of the country's most critical polls in decades.


With 90 per cent of votes counted, preliminary results show allies of moderate president Hassan Rouhani taking all 30 of Tehran's parliamentary seats.
