A new report alleges a wide range of human-rights abuses overseas in the past decade by some of Australia’s most prominent companies.
In most cases, the report says, corruption, poverty or a lack of law enforcement has thwarted the affected communities' attempts to seek justice.
It has human-rights advocates calling for reforms to ensure Australian companies are held responsible for any wrongdoing outside Australia.
