'Same sex marriage hurried to parliament'

The federal government has promised to hold a plebisite on same sex marriage by the end of the year, if it's re-elected, but Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull is not committing to a timeframe, instead saying one will be held as soon as possible after the election.
