The Australian government is urging school leavers to think carefully about their university choices after new statistics showed which degrees got people jobs the fastest.
More than 100,000 university students took part in the 2017 Graduate Outcomes Survey which shows nearly 72 per cent of undergraduates had a full time job within four months of finishing university, a slight increase on the year before.
The research shows that in 2017, those with degrees in medicine, pharmacy, dentistry and rehabilitation had the highest rates of full time employment.
