In 2008, a young-Vietnamese Australian singer-songwriter named Thanh Bui rose to national prominence by being a finalist on the television series Australian Idol - and since then his music career has gone from strength to strength across Asia.
Growing up in Australia, Thanh Bui held a long felt desire to reconnect with the country his family had fled. He moved to Vietnam in 2012 and since being there has gathered more than 2.5 million Facebook followers, writing hits for groups in Korea and Japan and working with international acts like the Black Eyed Peas.
