One of the few Vietnamese faces on Australian television, Tracy Vo, whose parents arrived as 1970s boat people, Tracy's journalism career began in radio as a reporter Curtin FM 100.1 and 6PR. Tracy joined the Nine News Perth team in 2012 as a reporter and fill-in presenter. In 2014, Tracy became a published author, telling her family's story in "Small Bamboo". In 2016, Tracy hosted Today Perth News before moving to the afternoon bulletin presenting Nine Perth Live from early 2018.
