In the Solomon Islands, after being banned for decades, the ancient Polynesian tradition of tattooing has undergone a modern revival. A new generation of islanders has reinvigorated the unique style and will showcase their work at the Melanesian Arts and Culture Festival in the Solomon Islands next month.
