Study seeks common practices among best-performing disadvantaged schools

A new report claims to have found the secrets of learning success in Australia's best-performing disadvantaged schools. The Centre for Independent Studies says explicit teaching, strong school discipline and collaboration among teachers are some of the key approaches found in schools where disadvantaged students are outperforming their peers.
