Taliban kidnappings leave questions around Afghan ceasefire

Taliban militants have returned over 140 people they kidnapped one day after aceasefire was announced between the militants and the Afghan government. However, about 20 more people have not been returned, leaving questions around the agreement. The provisional three-month truce follows a recent upsurge of violence by the Taliban, 17 years after they were ousted from power in Afghanistan.
