In the Tax and You section tonight, we spend all our time answering your questions.

"I am still at work, but I am receiving subsidies to care for my aging parents, and through the fiscal year I receive more than $ 25,000. Please ask if I need to file a good annual tax return. If I need to declare, can I apply for a deduction for the money I spend to travel or sometimes buy food, gifts or supplies for food? ".

"I am a college student, receiving Youth Allowance money and living with low-income parents. Over the past two months, I have been working as casual for Australia Post. Please ask if I need to report immediately to the Tax Office. and Social Security, or is it waiting until the end of the new fiscal year? ".

"I am the owner of an Asian grocery shop in Cabramatta, every week I use an old van to Flemmington market on 2 mornings to get the fruit to sell, most of the time I sell it in the shop but I go out and deliver, trade and talk about business etc. Please ask if we can buy a new and expensive car and can we claim tax exemption or tax deduction?"

"My husband and I plan to open a coffee shop, please tell us about the first procedures that need to be done, especially books, tax-related papers, council, health and employment."

"As a worker, the last fiscal year received a Notice of Assessement from the Tax Office, but I remembered that I forgot to declare $ 400 in the past year. It was 2 weeks I went to work for the service of landscaping of Vietnamese people and I did give full name to the boss, so what should I do now, if I have to re-declare or wait until the next year to declare more? ".
