Tensions rise as Saudis, Kuwaitis recalled from Lebanon

Kuwait has followed Saudi Arabia in advising its citizens not to travel to Lebanon, and asking those already in the country to leave as soon as possible.


Lebanon has been on edge since the sudden resignation of Prime Minister Saad al-Hariri while in Saudi Arabia over the weekend.

The news stoked fears of an escalation in the regional divide between Iran and Saudi Arabia, with Lebanon new front line.
