Threat of no deal Brexit begins to loom large

Diplomats claim the United Kingdom and the European Union are edging closer to a legal compromise that would avoid the UK leaving the bloc next month without a deal. Both sides are playing down the prospect of reaching a compromise immediately. But the threat of a no deal Brexit, and its consequences, is engendering a sense of urgency on both sides.
