UN call for action on sex-offending peacekeepers

The United Nations has called for a collective and effective response to the growing number of sexual-exploitation and sexual-abuse allegations against peacekeepers.


It comes after the United Nations adopted a resolution to immediately repatriate any peacekeepers accused of sexual abuse.

Now, a major international human-rights organisation has called for an overhaul of the U-N peacekeeping movement.
