The United Nations is warning of what it calls "a global measles crisis", following the release of figures showing cases of the illness have tripled worldwide in 2019. Provisional data from the bloc's agency for health, the World Health Organisation, indicates all regions of the world are seeing outbreaks. The latest figures follow consecutive increases of measles cases over the past two years.
