Human rights organisations have accused the White House of downplaying the number of innocent people killed in US military airstrikes.


After years of pressure, the Obama Administration has released a report detailing the numbers killed in drone attacks during Barack Obama's time in office.

The numbers exclude areas of active combat such as Syria, Aghanistan and Iraq, but US drone strikes are commonly used in Pakistan, Yemen and Somalia.
