US moves to seize AU$1.3 billion in Malaysian fund's assets

The United States Justice Department has moved to seize more than AU$1.3 billion of assets from a Malaysian state-funded company set up by Malaysia's Prime Minister, Najib Razak.


US federal prosecutors say the assets are tied to international public corruption and a global conspiracy.
