United States President Donald Trump has nominated conservative judge Neil Gorsuch to be the ninth justice of the Supreme Court.
If approved by the U-S Senate, the 49-year-old federal appeals court judge will take up the lifetime appointment made vacant by the death of another conservative justice last year.
