US Senate probe into Russian hacking promises bipartisanship

A United States Senate intelligence committee has asked to question 20 people as part of its investigation into whether Russia interfered in the 2016 presidential election.


The committee's Republican and Democrat leaders were eager to show a united front amid a scandal during a similar investigation in the House of Representatives.
