On May 19, 1974, former Prisoner of Conscience Vi Duc Hoi from Lang Son was arrested in Hanoi by security forces until nightfall.
He took a passenger car and arranged a friend to pick up at Thanh Xuan Department Store, but no more than 11 hours had been able to contact him.Mr. Vi Duc Hoi was the former director of Huu Lung district Party School in Lang Son province. He was arrested on October 27, 2010, accused of article 88, state propaganda and later sentenced to 8 years in prison and 3 years of house arrest. Appeal session reduced to 5 years.
