At 7am 9th August 2018, blogger, human rights activist and writer Huynh Thuc Vy has been arrested at her house in Buon Ho Town Dak Lak Vietnam with no warrant of arrest. She was then released at 10am the same day with three warrants: the warrant of prosecution for the act of abusing national flag, the warrant of banning from leaving of her town, and the warrant of banning from leaving the country. Her husband Le Khanh Duy used his Facebook page to alert social media network community about his wife's arrest on the day. He wrote that his wife and he has discussed about the arrest and they have prepared it would happen to his wife at any time.
