Vietnam: Reply from the Supreme Prosecution to the Tran Huynh Duy Thuc's case

The Supreme People's Procuracy of Vietnam has witten in reply to the call for amnesty to Tran Huynh Duy Thuc.In the Early of May, Solicitor Ngoc Trai has represented Thuc's family to log an appeal to all the Vietnamese state agencies and leaders to propose a special amnesty for Mr. Accordingly to the Amendment Act of the Penal Code 2015 which is taken in to effect in 1/1/2018, Tran Huynh Duy Thuc is eligible to be released immediatelly. After more than two-and-a-half months waiting with no a single respond from any of the receivers, on July 24, 1818, solicitor Ngo Ngoc Trai has received a letter from the authority.
