A year passed with massive protests across the country from South to North to oppose the Law on Cyber Security and the Special Area Law that stopped the Vietnamese state from discussing Special Law while more than 100 people were arrested and imprisoned.
Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc's inauguration of a flight from Guangzhou to Van Don showed that the Special Zone Law is getting closer to completion while Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh's trip to the US along the way for the trip of the General Secretary and President Nguyen Phu Trong showed the pro-American tendency.
