Vietnam upheld sentence to the three Human rights Activists

At 9 pm on 10/7/2018 in Hanoi, the trial of three social activists ended with upholding the sentence on Vu Quang Thuan to eight years in prison and five years of house arrest, Nguyen Van Dien 6 years 6 in prison and four years of house arrest, and student Tran Hoang Phuc six years in prison and four years of house arrest.At the court hearing Vu Quang Thuan appears not well, the court had to let him lie down in the room next to the court room in the guard of security, while Tran Hoang Phuc seems to be calm. Three activists were convicted of "propaganda against the state" under article 88 of the Vietnam Penal Code in 1999 for posting on Facebook and Youtube video clips about the news and current affairs in Vietnam .
