The International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia has acquitted former Serbian nationalist leader Vojislav Seselj of nine counts of war crimes. .


He had been charged over his part in the Balkan Wars of the 1990s.

The politician, who has terminal cancer, had openly ridiculed the tribunal while declaring his innocence
