What future for Australian children 'stuck in Syria'?

A lawyer for the family of an Australian couple who travelled to Syria to join the so-called Islamic state (IS) has renewed calls for their children to be repatriated, after the suspected death of their mother.

A lawyer for the family of an Australian couple who travelled to Syria to join the so-called Islamic state (IS) has renewed calls for their children to be repatriated, after the suspected death of their mother.


Tara Nettleton is believed to have died in September last year due to medical complications.

 

Her husband Khaled Sharrouf, widely known as an I-S fighter, was reportedly killed in battle some months earlier.
