$11.4m boost for busy Qld hospital

A busy emergency department in southeast Queensland will receive $11.4 million to fund extra staff and beds.

Health Minister Cameron Dick announced the funding for the Logan Hospital Emergency Department on Friday.

Mr Dick said the department would get 41 new staff and 11 extra beds following a 15 per cent surge in presentations since July.
