11-year-old WA boy charged with murder

An 11-year-old boy will appear in the Perth Children's court on a murder charge relating to the death of a man near a train station.

An 11-year-old boy has been charged with murder in relation to a death in Perth.

Major Crime Squad detectives say they charged the boy after a man died near the Esplanade Train Station on January 27.

The 11-year-old was arrested on Friday and has been remanded in custody. He is scheduled to appear in the Perth Children's Court on Monday.
