15 workers die in Yemen air strikes

A Saudi-led coalition air strike in Yemen has killed at least 15 workers in a factory in Sana'a.

At least 15 factory workers have been killed in a Saudi-led coalition airstrike in Yemen, officials and witnesses said.

Witnesses at the factory described to EFE a scene of horror, with corpses strewn amid a raging fire.

Nine of the victims were women and seven of the injured were left in critical condition, an official at the Sana'a factory said.

The Saudi-led coalition also bombed two Houthi rebel military quarters in the same neighbourhood.

Over the past few days, airstrikes against Houthi-held areas by the Yemeni government-backing coalition have increased, with 114 bombings reported on Monday by Houthi news agency Saba.
