2 dead and 3 hurt in NSW crash

Two people are dead and three more are in hospital after the car they were travelling in smashed into a power pole on NSW's central coast.

A man and a teenage boy have died and three people are in hospital after a single-car crash on NSW's central coast.

A man aged in his 60s and a teenager died at the scene when the car in which they were travelling veered off the road and crashed into a power pole on Peats Ridge Road near Gosford late on Friday night, police say.

The 24-year-old male driver, another teenage boy and a woman in her 20s were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
