Global ratings agency Moody's has affirmed Australia's Aaa credit rating and maintained its stable outlook.
Moody's says the decision is based on the expectation that the country's proven economic resilience will endure, a strong institutional framework, and stronger fiscal metrics than many similarly rated peers.
All three global ratings agencies had flagged a warning on Australia's prized triple-A rating over concerns of a parliamentary gridlock following the election results.
