Magpies Macaffer, Toovey retire from AFL

Collingwood's Brent Macaffer and Alan Toovey have revealed the 2016 AFL season will be their last.

Collingwood premiership duo Brent Macaffer and Alan Toovey are retiring from the AFL.

They played in the drawn 2010 grand final and ensuing replay, which the Magpies won by 56 points.

Macaffer and Toovey will play out the AFL and VFL seasons before hanging up their boots.
