The Adelaide 36ers have overwhelmed an injury-plagued New Zealand Breakers 113-95 to cement their position at the top of the NBL.
The 36ers have won 10 of their past 11 games, leading from start to finish on Sunday in Auckland.
Terrance Ferguson's opening three-pointer set the tone for Adelaide as they eased out to a 31-20 lead at the end of the first quarter, a lead they doubled to 62-40 at halftime.
Although the Breakers lifted to take the third quarter 32-25, they still trailed 87-72 at the final break, and Adelaide looked untroubled in closing out the final stanza 26-23 for the win.
The 36ers' shooting depth was key, Jerome Randle's game-high 23 backed up by Daniel Johnson (19), Mitchell Creek (16) and Nathan Sobey (15).
The Breakers' new American point guard Kevin Dillard impressed despite limited time with the team, top scoring with 18 after arriving just two days ago in New Zealand.
But, while Kirk Penney produced his usual solid contribution with 17 points, the Breakers had no answer to Adelaide's slick passing game, variety and well-organised defence.
Sitting on 12 wins from 19 starts, Adelaide hold a commanding lead over the second-placed Illawarra Hawks with two games in hand.
The Breakers remain mired at the bottom of the table on 8-11 and look to have little chance of repeating last year's run to the finals.
