Men with toddler missing in Qld flood zone

Safety concerns are held for two men and a three-year-old girl believed to be cut off by floodwaters in far north Queensland.

A search is underway for two men and a three-year-old girl missing in an area of far north Queensland cut off by flooding.

The 36 and 42-year-old men and the child have not been heard from since Saturday when they went to explore a private property in Mt Surprise, 400km northwest of Townsville.

Their last known location is believed to be either McDonald or Lancewood Creek where they were waiting for water to subside before crossing.
